Fairborn firm gets $2.4 million contract

Fairborn’s Radiance Technologies Inc. has been awarded a “significant” contract to provide modeling and simulation support to the Air Force Research Laboratory on Wright Patterson Air Force Base, the company said today, Sept. 29.

This contract is valued at $2.4 million over five years, the company said in an announcement.

“Radiance Technologies will support AFRL by providing high fidelity simulations to support advanced electronic warfare technique development,” Bill Bailey, Radiance senior vice president, said in the company’s statement. “We are very excited about this opportunity and the growth it will bring to our Ohio workforce. This is excellent occasion to expose the hardworking employees and technological expertise here in Fairborn, Radiance is pleased to be an important partner in this relationship.”

Radiance Technologies has had a Fairborn office for five years, with annual revenue of $3 million and a workforce of 15 employees, the company said.

Based in Huntsville, Ala., Radiance Technologies is an engineering and technology development company with about 370 employees worldwide.
