DAYTON — HealthGrades has ranked Good Samaritan Hospital tops in Ohio for vascular surgery and best in Dayton for joint replacement surgery, the hospital said in a prepared release.
Miami Valley Hospital, meanwhile, said it was ranked tops in southwest Ohio for overall cardiac services by HealthGrades.
Kettering Medical Center said HealthGrades rated it in the top 5 percent in the nation for stroke care, including sixth in the nation for treatment of stroke.
The HealthGrades study, to be released today, Oct. 13, considered mortality rates and complication rates from government data for the years 2006 through 2008.
