“The Magnetic Mobile team impressed me with their nimble model,” Pattison said. “It has allowed them to out-think the major players in the space and to right-size big data and delivery services for retail loyalty. The technology has been proven out with established major retail clients over the course of many years. I couldn’t be more excited to bring it to market.”

Magnetic Mobile is the brainchild of Marxent co-founders Beck and Barry Besecker. The team builds mobile technology that uses data, delivery and content that will result in retail loyalty of customers.

Magentic Mobile was the former retail division of Marxent, but was spun off into a separate venture in April.

Some of the company’s services includes the development of apps, web applications, marketing strategy, and data-driven design strategy.

“Our consumers have downloaded our mobile applications over two million times and are used by approximately one million users regularly,” Pattison told this newspaper. “Magnetic consistently earns five-star ratings in the Apple and Android stores.”

The end result? The apps help create a “more personalized relationship” between customers and their favorite retailers, Pattison said. It allows retailers to know and reward the most loyal shoppers.

Beck Besecker, co-founder and CEO of Magnetic Mobile, said Pattison’s experience with major consumer packaged goods brands gives him the insight to help retailers and customers take advantage of the Magnetic platform to build more rewarding relationships and to grow their business.
