BEAVERCREEK — The Life is good Genuine Neighborhood Shoppe — the latest venture by a couple that has launched other retail stores — has opened at The Greene.
The store carries the “Life is good” line of products, which includes apparel, hats and accessories, many featuring the brand’s characters, Jake, Rocket and Jackie, according to a news release.
The 4395 Holly Drive store is the latest enterprise from Shops by Todd Inc., the retail company owned by Todd and Jean Bettman. The couple also owns and operates four Occasionally Yours and five Pandora Jewelry stores.
The Beavercreek store is the first Life is good store in Ohio.
“We have had a history of bringing exciting retail concepts to Dayton — an area other national retailers neglect,” Todd Bettman said.
Jean Bettman said the couple were drawn to the Life is good concept not only because of its quality products, but also the positive messages conveyed through its merchandise. The couple also appreciates the Boston company’s efforts through its charitable foundations to help children, Jean Bettman added.
“The company’s guiding principles of simplicity, humor and humility tell a universal message perfect for the times in which we live,” she said.
