COLUMBUS — The Columbus district office of the U.S. Small Business Administration has named three local winners of awards for small-business achievements:
• Michael William Bodey, regional director of the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Wright State University, received the SBA Veteran Small Business award. He has provided direct assistance to veteran-owned businesses for 13 years.
• Todd E. Miller, Donald E. Miller and Kelly Joseph of Classic Products, Inc. of Piqua are receiving the Jeffrey Butland Family Owned Business of the Year award. Classic Products makes various shake and shingle profiles that are made from pre-painted aluminum to copper and steel.
• Michael Kevin Clare, president of Chevron Construction Services, LLC of Mason, is receiving the Columbus District Veteran Small Business of the Year award. Chevron Construction is a disabled veteran-owned small business that provides general construction services.
The award winners will be recognized April 22 at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City.
