The hotel on Patterson Boulevard in Dayton will remain open during the renovation, although some areas and guestrooms will be unavailable at times during the renovation, which is scheduled to be completed early in 2017, according to hotel officials.
Thomas Hamilton Associates of Richmond, Virginia, will serve as architects for the renovation. Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company, which manages the hotel, will oversee the project.
University of Dayton and Concord purchased the 9.8-acre property at 1414 S. Patterson Blvd. in 2014. Built in 1982 and last renovated in 2008, the hotel includes 399 guest rooms with nine suites, 13,600 square feet of meeting space, a full-service restaurant and bar, a fitness center and pool.
