Mason-based fan manufacturer considering 60-job expansion

Cincinnati Fan, which manufactures industrial fans and blowers, is considering adding a new product line at its Mason facility that could create about 60 new jobs and represent $1.5 million in new investment, according to local government and development agencies.

The company could grow the division in the United Kingdom and increase exports to North America of the product, or add production of the fan line at sites in the Tristate area of Southwest Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana, according to Ohio Development Services Agency.

The proposed project was awarded an Ohio Job Creation Tax Credit on Tuesday, which could save the company money on its taxes to state government if it moves forward and creates new jobs in Ohio.

If the Mason company makes the investment, it could create 63 new jobs by the end of 2018, generating approximately $2 million in new payroll in Warren County, according to Ohio Development Services Agency.

Currently Cincinnati Fan, which is located on Snider Road, has about 100 employees, according to regional economic development agency REDI Cincinnati.
