DAYTON — NCR Corp. said it bought the assets of Netkey Inc., a provider of kiosk and digital signage software that supports self-service uses in retailing and human resources operations.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Netkey, based in East Haven, Conn., has at least 75,000 kiosks and digital signs installed by more than 400 clients in retail, finance, transportation and government sectors. Many of those customers also use NCR’s kiosk, self-checkout or point-of-sale systems, NCR said.
Netkey was founded in 1983. The privately held company did not disclose its annual revenues. It has fewer than 100 employees, NCR spokesman Peter Tulupman said.
