“We’re very excited to welcome Vanity and other popular national retailers in the upcoming months,” said Kristie Miller, general manager at The Mall at Fairfield Commons. “Our focus remains to provide our style conscious shoppers with the best choices possible as the area’s go to place for fashion and dining.”
The new store comes on the heels of two other additions to the mall — Francesca’s women’s clothing store and Fusian sushi. Francesca’s opened earlier in the month next to JCPenny, and Fusian is set to open in January.

The mall is in the midst of its second phase of redevelopment, focusing on the interior redesign of the facility. The large marble staircase that currently divides the space will be removed and a new floating staircase will be installed near JCPenney.
Construction is expected to be complete late this month. Phase one of the redevelopment project was completed in 2015.
