New pizza shop opens tomorrow in Mall at Fairfield Commons

A new, locally owned pizza shop called Phantom Pizza will open Friday, Dec. 19 inside the Mall at Fairfield Commons, mall officials announced today.

Phantom Pizza will occupy 1,106 square feet in the food court in space that previously housed Sbarro pizza, according to Kristie Miller, the mall’s marketing director. The shop is owned by local business owner Ahmed Taha, Miller said.

The pizza shop will offer New York-style pizzas, as well as salads, baked ziti, lasagna, spaghetti, chicken Parmesan, and a weekly special dish.

“Italian food in a quick-serve setting will add to the variety of options in the food court,” Miller said.
