Honda vehicles made in Ohio will be featured at the upcoming North American International Auto Show next month, Honda said Monday.
The 2013 Honda Accord Coupe Concept will be on display, the automaker said. All Accord coupe and sedan models sold in the U.S. are produced at Honda’s auto plant in Marysville. The ninth-generation Accord will go on sale in the fall of 2012, and will mark 30 years of Accord production at the Marysville plant, the company said.
Acura, Honda’s luxury brand, will unveil three vehicles at the show — a compact sports sedan, a redesigned RDX crossover SUV and a concept version of the next Acura NSX.
The engine for the Acura ILX concept is supplied by Honda’s engine plant in Anna, Ohio.
And the new Acura RDX will be produced at Honda’s auto plant in East Liberty, Ohio.
The North American International Auto Show will be Jan. 9-22, 2012 in Detroit.
Honda has more than 13,000 employees in Ohio, including about 1,300 who commute from the Miami Valley, the company has said.
