Chad Terrill, the plant manager of PVS Plastics Technology, said the company has been leasing part of the space for several years.
PVS occupies around 25,000 square feet, and will now have around 62,000 square feet with the new purchase.
The company will invest around $600,000 in renovations to the property. Currently, PVS employs 33 workers at its Huber Heights location. Terrill said that number could increase to 50 to 60 in the next five years.
“The building needs a lot of work,” he said. “We’re definitely putting money into it.”
The location’s revenue is about $6.5 million annually.
According to records, several industrial warehouses are located on the property. The property is located next to Interstate 70, and less than five miles away from I-75. Executive Boulevard has several companies located in the industrial park including Dayton Freight, Meyer Plastics, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Hertz Rent-A-Car.
The company has locations in Germany, China, Hungary and the Huber Heights location in the U.S.
