Local patients can get diagnosis without visiting doctor

Premier HealthNet has launched a new service that allows patients to be diagnosed and treated by a doctor even if they’re miles apart.

The primary care practice, which is part of the Dayton-based Premier Health system and has offices from Vandalia to West Chester, is now offering so-called “E-Visits” – a new way for patients to inform a physician about their symptoms and receive diagnosis and treatment — including prescriptions — using Premier HealthNet’s MyChart online patient portal.
