A Tipp City-based oil company is planning to build a new gas station and convenience store on the northeast corner of Ohio 741 and Ohio 122-Ohio 123 in the town of Red Lion in Clearcreek Twp., Warren County.
The township’s Board of Zoning Appeals on Tuesday approved a variance for an agent for Pap Oil Co., permitting the canopy for the new gas pumps to be set 24 feet back from the road, rather than 50 feet as required by the township regulations.
Next the company is expected to demolish existing existing structures for the gas station and convenience store there. It closed when United Dairy Farmers opened a new station and store on the intersection’s southwest corner, south of Springboro.
Then a new station and store are to be built on the corner adjoining Country Creek, a new subdivision planned by Oberer Land Development, fronting on Ohi0 741 heading north toward Springboro and Ohio 122-123 eastbound toward Ohio 48, north of Lebanon.
