Reynolds awards 33 college scholarships

Reynolds and Reynolds Co. has awarded college scholarships for the upcoming school year through programs sponsored by the Reynolds and Reynolds Company Foundation, the company said today, July 16.

Overall, the Foundation sponsored 33 separate scholarships for the coming academic year; more than 20 were awarded to students from Ohio, with most in the Dayton area.

The centerpiece of the program is a scholarship geared toward assisting the college-age children of Reynolds employees with undergraduate studies. This year, more than 25 children of associates from around the company were awarded scholarships for the 2009–10 academic year.

In 2009, the company also established the Reynolds and Reynolds Leadership Scholars Program at Wright State University. The new program provides scholarships for students entering Wright State’s College of Engineering and Computer Science .

Christine Martin, Bellbrook High School.

Michael Muse, Bethel High School.

Shaylah Mutschler, Tecumseh High School.

Jacob Saunders, Granville High School.

Caroline Scharrer, Kettering Fairmont High School.

Kelsey Smith, Celina High School.

Emily Steiner, Oakwood High School.

Erin Tavalero, Bellbrook High School.

Jordan Watrous, Centerville High School.
