WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Sierra Lobo Inc., a consultant for design, construction and operation of research facilities, said it has been awarded an Air Force contract potentially worth $40 million, if fully funded.

The Air Force Research Laboratory’s air vehicles directorate awarded the contract to provide research and development structural test services at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Sierra Lobo officials said. The company will team with defense consulting company Booz Allen Hamilton to do the work.

The contract covers a four-month base period that begins Oct. 1, plus four one-year renewal options, company spokeswoman Amy Hess said Monday.

Sierra Lobo is based in Fremont, Ohio. It has a Fairborn office in the Wright Executive Center, 3000 Presidential Dr., Suite 390.
