DAYTON — Adaptive Imaging Technologies Ltd., an Israeli company that is in a business relationship with Dayton’s STAN Solutions, is contending in a global contest recognizing promising start-ups that offer security and defense technology, according to information from STAN Solutions’ president. Based in the Entrepreneurs Center off Monument Avenue, Stan Solutions is a young company that offers government clients sensing and camera technologies.
Recently, the company has said it will work with the University of Dayton’s Institute for the Development and Commercialization of Advanced Sensor Technology on extending the capabilities of a camera developed by Adaptive. STAN Solutions acquired the exclusive North American distribution rights to the camera.
Tony Manuel, STAN Solutions president, is proud of what his company has been able to accomplish so far.
“This is pretty monumental,” Manuel said.
In a competition called the “Global Security Challenge,” Adaptive won the Southern & Eastern Europe regional finals of the competition in the most promising startup category. Manuel said that positions Adaptive to compete in the contest globally, against five other regional finalists.
The contest world finals take place in London in November.
