NewPage Corp., based in Miami Twp., recently received a “Best of the Bullseye” award from Target Corp., the paper producer said Thursday, July 29.
NewPage, which calls itself the largest coated paper manufacturer in North America, has supplied paper for Target weekly circulars from its Duluth, Minn., mill for more than 20 years.
NewPage noted that Target does not carry its own paper inventory.
“We value the partnership that we have established with Target,” Barry Nelson, NewPage senior vice president of sales, said in a statement from the company. “This award reflects the efforts of the entire NewPage team in providing great customer service.”
NewPage said it supplies Target with paper that contains 30 percent recovered or recycled materials from the Duluth mill.
NewPage has about 350 Dayton-area employees.
