Teradata, SAS honored for partnership, market impact

Miami Twp.-based data warehousing company Teradata has won the 2013 ASAP Alliance Excellence Award for its partnership with SAS, a business analytics software company headquartered in Cary, North Carolina.

The two companies were honored in the individual alliance excellence category, which is awarded by the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP), the leading professional group for elevating and promoting the profession of alliance management.

Officials said the award acknowledged the partnership’s innovation, with continued growth and success over six years.

“The companies have displayed a high degree of collaboration, obtained strong support from their CEOs and adeptly aligned themselves across major functional areas, including project management, research and development, marketing, services and technical support,” said Art Canter, ASAP’s president and chief executive, in a statement.

Teradata has about 350 employees at its world headquarters in Miami Twp.
