Scott Wallace has been appointed vice president of strategic development for Standard Register’s Healthcare business unit, the company said Monday, May 10.
“Scott brings energy and a depth of expertise that will be invaluable as we transform the business and develop new capabilities to help our clients thrive in today’s challenging healthcare environment,” Brad Cates, Standard Register’s Healthcare unit president, said in a statement from the company.
Wallace is a veteran healthcare executive and management consultant with over 21 years of experience, the company said. He has built and led consulting practices for ACS Healthcare Solutions, Superior Consulting, and Santa Rosa Consulting, focused on revenue cycle, quality, clinical and administrative process re-engineering, patient safety and financial system implementation.
Wallace graduated from the University of Dayton and received his masters degree in hospital and health administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
Scott, 46, lives in Springboro.
Standard Register, headquartered on Albany Street, has more than 500 Dayton employees.
