Cabela's to give away free firearms on Black Friday: Dayton, Ohio

Cabela’s in Centerville is giving away prizes, including gift cards and two firearms, to the first 600 customers in line on Black Friday.

The outdoor retailer will celebrate Black Friday, Nov. 24, by offering customers extended hours, entertainment and hundreds of giveaways at the Centerville location at 5500 Cornerstone North Blvd. Doors will open at 5 a.m., and the first 600 customers in line, 18 years old or older, will be eligible to receive a mystery envelope containing information about their gift.

The gifts are randomly distributed and could include: outdoor products, firearms and Cabela’s gift cards. Firearm winners will be required to complete and pass a standard federal background check to take ownership of the firearm.

The Centerville Cabela’s will give away one gun and one rifle on Black Friday.

Cabela’s will also be open on Thanksgiving from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The store closed on Thanksgiving last year, but has since been acquired by Bass Pro Shops. Bass Pro Shops stores typically remain open on Thanksgiving.
