Crystal chandeliers with a dangerous tendency to fall, single-cup coffee makers that may spray scalding liquid on users and lamps that may start fires are among the consumer products recalled this week.

The large chandeliers are reported to have caused only property damage, no injuries. But dozens of unsuspecting consumers, including child bystanders, have suffered burn injuries from the problem coffee makers.
