WEST ALEXANDRIA — Women in Aviation International is teaming with the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association to create “Women’s Wing,” a program to highlight the accomplishments of women in aviation.
The program will be offered during the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association’s (AOPA) summit meeting Nov. 5-7 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Fla. It is intended to inform attendees about learning to fly and pursuing an aviation career, Women in Aviation said from its home office at Morningstar North Airport.
The activities are to include talks by female pilots and joint presentations by officials of Women in Aviation, National Business Aviation Association, Experimental Aircraft Association and the AOPA.
For more information, contact Connie Lawrence of Women in Aviation at (937) 839-4647 or clawrence@wai.org.
