KETTERING — Highlighting the Ohio attorney general’s Small Business Initiative will be the focus of the Aug. 31 Women in Business Luncheon hosted by the Kettering Moraine Oakwood Chamber of Commerce.
Lynn Coleman, regional public affairs and outreach director for Attorney General Richard Cordray, will be the speaker, according to Ann-Lisa Rucker, president of the Chamber.
The event, which is open to the public, will start at 11:30 a.m. at Figlio in Town & Country Shopping Center, 424 E. Stroop Road.
Admission to the luncheon will be $15 for members of the Chamber and non-members.
Cordray’s initiative is designed to help small businesses and nonprofits recover dollars lost to deceptive business practices and scammers.
The luncheons provide attendees an opportunity to market their business while networking with other businesses in the community. They are held on the last Tuesday of every month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For more information or to register for the event, visit the Chamber’s website at www.kmo-coc.org or call 299-3852.
