Woolpert to work on new CareSource building

Woolpert has been contracted by Cincinnati-based BHDP Architecture to provide design services for CareSource’s new downtown building.

The Beavercreek-based company will provide civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and design services.

CareSource’s new 205,000-square-foot, six-story building will house 800 employees to meet the non-profit company’s projected growth forecasts, Woolpert said in an announcement.

In addition to office and collaborative work spaces, the facility will provide employee amenities such as a cafeteria, a fitness center, locker rooms and training rooms.

Frank Monastra, Woolpert project manager, said in a company statement that the new building will use a geothermal heating and cooling system like the one used at the nearby CareSource headquarters.
