SHEETS, Lois Eileen

SHEETS, Lois Eileen Age 89, of Centerville (formerly of Trotwood), went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. Lois was a 1946 graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School in Trotwood, where she and her husband, Joe, made their home. Following her retirement from Bank One, Dayton (now JP Morgan Chase), Joe and Lois enjoyed their grandsons' school and sports events, traveling with friends and family, and vacations especially those to Myrtle Beach and the Great Smokey Mountains with Connie's family. Lois loved her family and enjoyed family reunions, holidays, and time spent with family. Her best friends were her sisters and she survived them all. Recently, she was happiest when friends and family would visit. She loved to watch The Ohio State Buckeyes football games on TV, go out to eat, play cards, have Marion's pizza at home, and watch her great grandsons play in her backyard. Most of all, Lois loved and trusted in the Lord. Lois was a member of the Trotwood Grace Brethren Church, attended Mount Tabor Church of God while they lived in Celina, and attended Centerville Grace when she moved to Centerville. Lois is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joseph (Joe) in 2003 and their first child, Constance (Connie) in 2005. Lois is survived by her daughter, Belinda (Terry) Kutter and son, David (Kelley) Sheets, step-daughter, Teresa (John) Shaw, and very special son-in-law, Mark (Beth) Collins; grandchildren, Ben (Tracy) Collins, Jared Collins, Phillip Haley, Tracy (Erik) Collins, Ryan (Corry) Kutter, and Jason (Brandi) Kutter; 11 great grandchildren; and many beloved nephews and nieces. Thank you to the Hospice nurses and aides who lovingly cared for Lois in her final days. Very special thank you to Heather Pulaski, MD and Beka Abraham, CNP at Kettering Cancer Care, with oncology nurses Robin, Amy, Carey, Gretchen, and many friends she made there, like Randi. Great work, Ladies you're the Best. Pastor Ned Denlinger will officiate a memorial service celebrating Lois's life 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Centerville Grace 410 East Social Row Road Centerville, OH 45458. Arrangements completed by the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel.
