Kitchen, roof, flooring are some of the renovations

Updated vinyl windows and a new roof are just the beginning of the list of improvements made to this bi-level home located within Union.

The roof was installed in 2015, and double-pane windows were done in 2010. The home’s mechanical systems were also updated in 2014. The only thing needed is a few personal touches to the home at 418 Sheets St. as the aluminum and-brick home is listed for $107,500 by Sibcy Cline Realtors.

Other updates made to the home during the past five years include wood-laminate flooring in 2017, kitchen counters and backsplash in 2016 and rear exit door in 2017.

Formal entry opens into an entry pad of ceramic-tile flooring with staircases leading to the upper and lower levels. An oak railing surrounds the stairwell opening off the living room.

The combined kitchen and dining room has wood-laminate flooring and is accessible from both the living room and the hallway. The kitchen has oak cabinetry, updated beveled countertops and ceramic-tile backsplash. There is a pantry cabinet near the refrigerator nook for additional storage and a double sink is below a window.

A hallway leads from the living room to the three bedrooms and a full bathroom. All three bedrooms have wood-laminate flooring and overhead ceiling lights. One bedroom has built-in organizers within the closet. The full bathroom features a tub/shower with tile surround, an oak vanity with single sink and tile flooring which was installed during the past five years.

The lower level has two social areas divided by a partial wall and flooring. The front room is set up as a family room with a daylight window, storage nook and display shelf. The other half of the space is set up as an exercise room with ceramic-tile flooring and has a door that opens out to the back yard.

A full bathroom offers a walk-in fiberglass shower, hidden toilet, single-sink vanity and ceramic-tile flooring. The unfinished utility room has a wash sink, folding counter and laundry hook-ups in addition to the home’s mechanical systems and an updated electrical box. Across the hallway is a door that opens into a bonus room with a window. This room is large enough to be a small office or hobby room but also could be finished storage space. There is also a closet under the staircase.

Access to the one-car garage is at the end of the hallway.

The back door opens to a short stairwell that leads up to the back yard. The semi-private back yard has a storage barn and a multi-level wood deck with railing surround.
