Drunken woman staggers into a heap of trouble

FAIRBORN — Aug. 8: An officer was taking a prisoner to jail when he saw an abandoned vehicle off Ohio 235.
He saw a female stagger along Trebein Road, lose her balance and fall into a ditch. She smelled of alcohol and told the officer she would walk home.
She placed a call from her cell to say she was going to be arrested. She denied driving even though she was holding keys, and denied owning the vehicle.
Another officer responded, ran the vehicle registration and determined the subject did own it. She was arrested for disorderly conduct and falsification.
