The Cleveland Browns have the No. 4 overall pick in April’s NFL draft. Here are the players selected in that spot during the past six years and what has become of them:
2011: A.J. Green, WR, Bengals — Made Pro Bowl as a rookie.
2010: Trent Williams, OT, Redskins — Flunked an NFL drug test.
2009: Aaron Curry, LB, Seahawks — Traded to Raiders; major disappointment.
2008: Darren McFadden, RB, Raiders — One of three, along with Green and Williams, still with the same team.
2007: Gaines Adams, DE, Buccaneers — Died at age 26 (heart condition).
2006: Cedric Benson, RB, Bears — Three 1,000-yard seasons with Bengals; slew of legal problems.
