Stebbins junior Seaira Evans and Elizabeth VanSant of Beavercreek will compete in the Queen of Diamonds Showcase North (QDSN) at Kent State University from Jan. 7-8. The QDSN is part of the Queen of Diamonds Showcase events and bills itself as the largest fastpitch softball showcases of its kind.

Evans plays catcher for the Carlisle Lady Mustangs 16U select team. At Stebbins she received the Coaches Award and the CBC Sportsmanship Award her sophomore year. VanSant is a second baseman and also plays for the Miami Valley XPress 18U team that is coached by Jim Miller.

Athletes are selected based on criteria ranging from ability, potential, academics, grad year, coaches requests and referrals.
