DIVISION I

1. Centerville (7-1): All that stands in the way of another poll title for the Elks is the DDN Game of the Week today at Wayne and a Week 10 visit by Fairmont.

2. Springboro (7-1): Panthers host red-hot Trotwood-Madison in a great nondivision matchup.

3. Lebanon (6-2): Warriors clinging to D-I postseason berth, but will get few secondary points by beating Xenia and Miamisburg.

4. Wayne (5-3): Wins over Fairmont and Beavercreek last two weeks have Warriors back in playoff hunt heading into showdown with Centerville.

5. Springfield (5-3): Wildcats stumbled vs. Fairmont last week and must win out to have playoff shot.

DIVISION II

1. West Carrollton (7-1): It’s a banner season for the Pirates, who inherit the top spot after Tecumseh falls.

2. Trotwood-Madison (5-3): Resilient Rams can secure a D-II playoff spot by beating Springboro.

3. Tecumseh (7-1): Arrows fell to Springfield Shawnee and get no relief the final two weeks of the regular season, hosting Tippecanoe and at Bellefontaine, both 7-1.

4. Wilmington (6-2): Hurricane must dodge Walnut Hills before a showdown with unbeaten Turpin.

5. Carroll (4-4): Patriots can salvage an up-and-down season by winning out against Hamilton Badin and Fenwick.

DIVISION III

1. Tippecanoe (7-1): Red Devils have won seven straight since a season-opening loss to Graham (6-2).

2. Monroe (7-1): Hornets have won six straight since falling to Fenwick.

3. CJ (7-1): Eagles remain No. 1 in Region 12, must take out Roger Bacon (1-7) and finish with a showdown vs. unbeaten Alter.

4. Bellefontaine (7-1): Chieftains finish at Springfield Shawnee (6-2), then host Tecumseh.

5. Eaton (6-2): Eagles bumped Franklin and can strengthen position by beating Valley View.

DIVISION IV

1. Alter (8-0): Knights’ closest game was a 27-12 defeat of St. John’s (D.C.) College.

2. Clinton-Massie (8-0): Falcons have overtaken Alter atop Region 16.

3. Marshall (5-3): Cougars, No. 9 in Region 16, must beat Dunbar and winless Ponitz Tech and cross their playoff fingers.

4. Waynesville (6-2): Spartans could jump into the playoff hunt by beating Monroe.

5. Valley View (6-2): Spartans can lock up playoff spot by beating Eaton and/or Brookville.

DIVISION V

1. Coldwater (7-1): All good things must end, and so did the Cavaliers’ regular-season win streak to Delphos St. John’s.

2. Anna (7-1): It’s official, Rockets have earned their keep — and a likely playoff spot — in the MAC.

3. West Liberty-Salem (8-0): Final major test for Tigers is against visiting Mechanicsburg (6-2).

4. St. Henry (6-2): Next up for the Redskins? Defending state champ and unbeaten Delphos St. John’s.

5. Miami East (7-1): Vikings must get past National Trail before a season-ending showdown vs. unbeaten Ansonia for the CCC title.

DIVISION VI

1. Ansonia (8-0): Tigers were limited to a season-low 35 points in beating Covington.

2. Fort Loramie (7-1): Redskins are on a roll, but have beaten just one winning team.

3. Southeastern (6-2): Trojans have lost only to West Liberty-Salem and Mechanicsburg.

4. Lehman Catholic (5-3): Cavaliers must not look ahead to Week 10 showdown vs. Fort Loramie.

5. Marion Local (3-5): Check this out; Flyers have lost five straight and still are No. 8 in Region 24.
