Brookville 103, Milton-Union 37: Brookville standout and Wright State recruit Courtney Boyd set an individual school scoring record with 40 points in leading the Blue Devils to a defeat of Milton-Union.
Boyd, who spent part of Saturday morning at urgent care suffering from flu-like symptoms, added 13 rebounds for Brookville, which is ranked third in the DDN area Division III ratings.
Elisabeth Wheeler added 15 points and Rose Hanna scored 11 for the unbeaten Blue Devils (5-0, 3-0 SWBL).
The 103 points scored also established a girls school scoring record for Brookville.
Ashleigh Bishop led Milton-Union with 14 points.
Carroll 51, Chaminade Julienne 37: The Patriots used a combination of zone and man defenses to jump to a 14-2 first quarter advantage and held CJ star Samarie Walker to seven points in this GGCL Grey North Division matchup of two of the top-ranked D-II area teams.
Kelley Austria, a 5-10 guard, scored 15 points to lead No. 2 Carroll (6-0, 2-0). Molly McGloin scored 13, and Ciara Poppa added 12.
Emily Michael led the No. 3 Eagles (3-2, 2-2) with nine points.
Alter 45, Fenwick 30: Sisters Ashley and Courtney Christie combined for 19 points to lead the Knights (5-0, 3-0).
Chelsea Farrell’s nine points led the Falcons.
Boys basketball
Wayne 87, Fairborn 48: Markus Crider scored 25 points and shot 11-for-14 from the field to lead Wayne. Travis Trice scored 16 and made three 3-pointers.
Kendrick Williams led Fairborn with 19 points.
Northmont 57, Meadowdale 42: Zach Newsome scored 18 points and Steve Newell added 17 to lead Northmont. Newell shot 9-for-13 from the free throw line. Devin Carter scored 10.
Jaquill King led Meadowdale with 16 points.
Alter 53, Lebanon 42, OT: Alter won its first game of the year by outscoring Lebanon 17-6 in overtime.
Trey Freshwater led Alter with 17 points. Max Zukowitz added 16 and was 5-for-6 from the free throw line.
Blake Davenport led Lebanon with 18 points.
West Carrollton 56, Bellbrook 52: Conner Myslowski led West Carrollton with 18 points. Michael Collins scored seven and had 14 rebounds.
Chris Lynch led Bellbrook with 16 points.
Tippecanoe 57, Troy 52: Undefeated Tippecanoe knocked off previously undefeated Troy, thanks to 20 points from Shadi Rabi and 10 from Eric Seger.
D.J. Martinez led Troy with 20 points.
Tippecanoe is 4-0, while Troy fell to 5-1.
Vandalia Butler 65, Northridge 51: Wright State recruit A.J. Pacher, a 6-9 center, led Butler with 26 points and 17 rebounds. Ryne Pugh scored 14.
