Hot shooting by Kelley Austria and Ciara Triplett helped Carroll defeat Winton Woods 59-31 in a girls basketball Braggin’ Rights Tournament game Monday, Dec. 21, at Harvest Prep in Canal Winchester.

Austria scored 18 points, shooting 7-of-8 from the foul line. Triplett scored 16 points. Carroll is 7-0.

Northmont 70, Cle. Shaw 51: Kelley Johnson paced Northmont (3-6) with 20 points and seven rebounds in another Braggin’ Rights Tournament game.

Fairborn 56, Oakwood 35: The host Skyhawks used a balanced attack to defeat Oakwood. Chelsea Reed, Brooklyn Pumroy and Alexis Gassion each scored 14 points for Fairborn. Alex Miller led Oakwood with 19 points. Fairborn improved to 7-0; Oakwood fell to 3-5.

Brookville 84, Arcanum 39: Wright State recruit Courtney Boyd scored 40 points for a second straight game and grabbed a career high 18 rebounds. Brookville improved to 6-0; Arcanum fell to 3-5.
