The Troy High School boys basketball team clinched a share of the Greater Western Ohio Conference North Division title with a 60-55 overtime win over Vandalia Butler on Friday.
A free throw by Seth Lucas tied the game for Troy at the end of regulation and pushed the game to overtime, where the Trojans had a 7-2 run for the win.
Zack Martinez led Troy with 16 points. Tyler Miller scored 13, Zach Rohr 12.
Jordan Greer led Butler (8-9, 4-4) with 22, while Dylan Cloud scored 13.
Troy (11-6, 8-0) is undefeated in division play this season but had struggled lately, losing four of its last six overall until Friday night’s division-clinching win.
Dunbar 79, Thurgood Marshall 53: At Wright State’s Nutter Center, Dunbar won its 23rd consecutive regular-season game dating to last season.
Meadowdale 65, Ponitz 54: Meadowdale led 29-13 after the first quarter and held on at Wright State’s Nutter Center.
Sean Cassidy led Meadowdale (14-3) with 15 points. Hizan Blackford and Jamie Burns each scored 11.
Centerville 56, Fairmont 35: Centerville held Fairmont to 11 points in the first half.
Jackson Replogle led the Elks (9-8, 3-5) with 16 points. Eric Meininger scored 13. All 12 Centerville players scored.
Waynesville 82, Northridge 43: The Spartans rolled with a 25-6 run in the third quarter.
Luke Creditt and Steven Jeffries each scored 18 for Waynesville (14-2, 8-1). Victor Boggs scored 12.
Robert Jenks led Northridge with 18.
Wayne 93, Springfield 79: The teams combined for 64 points in the fourth quarter. Juan Ford led Wayne (6-11, 4-5) with 19 points. D’Mitrik Trice had 15, Evin Bartlett 14.
Ryan Minney had 18 for Springfield (5-10, 2-6). Henry Alexander scored 17, John Carson 10.
Oakwood 55, Monroe 46: Trent Jervis led Oakwood (5-11) with 15 points. Grant Pepper scored 12, Tripp French 11.
Cameron Coleman led Monroe with 17, Manny Boateng 12.
Miamisburg 54, Lebanon 36: The Vikings only led by three after the third, but outscored Lebanon 19-4 in the fourth.
Connor Brown led Miamisburg (10-6, 3-5) with 22 points. John Giles had 15.
Bradd Ellis led Lebanon (2-15, 0-9) with 13.
St. Henry 42, Fort Recovery 41: The Redskins shocked Fort Recovery, the No. 2 team in the state Division IV poll.
Steven Luttmer led St. Henry with 13 points.
Wade Gelhaus led Fort Recovery with 14.
Sidney 71, Piqua 49: Patwaun Hudson had 30 points, and Sidney (3-12, 3-5) put the game away with 27 points in the fourth quarter.
