Fairmont defeated Beavercreek 53-32 on Wednesday to wrap up another perfect girls basketball season in the Greater Western Ohio Conference Central Division.

Kathryn Westbeld paced the Firebirds with 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Chelsea Welch added 12 points.

The win against Creek (9-10, 4-6) marked the third consecutive undefeated GWOC Central season for Fairmont (17-3, 10-0), which plays Stebbins on Feb. 18 in the opening round of tournament play.

Troy 53, Sidney 38: The Trojans (13-6, 8-1) defeated the host Yellow Jackets to keep alive their hopes of a GWOC North title split with Vandalia. Kristen Wood led the charge with 19 points, and Tori Merrell added 14. Troy will play Piqua on Saturday to wrap up the regular season.

Northmont 72, Springfield 42: Abby Bailey, in her first game this season after suffering a torn ACL, scored her first two points for the T-Bolts (12-8, 6-4). Courtney Sweet paced Northmont with 17 points, and Krista Knapke added 14.

Vandalia 43, Trotwood 28: Gina Warmouth paced the Aviators (13-7, 9-1) with 13 points, and Vandalia clinched at least a share of the GWOC North title. Aysha Ingram had 16 points in a losing effort.

Centerville 51, Wayne 36: Bethany Krause scored 13 points to pace the Elks (15-4, 8-2). No one scored in double figures for the Warriors (9-10, 2-8).

Lakota East 47, Bellbrook 44: Lakota’s Molly Blomer hit a 3-point bucket with 20 seconds left to sink the Golden Eagles (16-4). Erin Dorn led Bellbrook with 11 points. Blomer had 17 for Lakota East (14-6).
