Division I
1. Troy (4-1): Trojans are the only area D-I team in the top 8 in computer points. They are No. 3 in Region 3, but they face undefeated Butler tonight.
2. Centerville (2-3): The Elks took out some frustration on Springboro in a 55-17 win last weekend; now it’s on to GWOC Central Division foes.
3. Wayne (2-3): Warriors’ losses have come against teams that are a combined 13-2, but they got back to winning with 47-26 defeat of Xenia last week.
4. Northmont (2-3): Thunderbolts have scored 102 points in past two games after putting up 47 in first three; chance to impress at Beavercreek.
5. Beavercreek (3-2): Beavers stayed right with No. 1 Troy in 35-28 defeat last week but enter GWOC Central play on 1-14 divisional stretch.
Division II
1. Trotwood-Madison (5-0): The Rams remain No. 2 in the state with GWOC’s top offense (446 yards, 41.4 points per game) and hard-hitting defense.
2. Vandalia Butler (5-0): Aviators enter statement game against D-I No. 1 Troy with GWOC’s top rush offense (323.2 yards per game).
3. Tippecanoe (5-0): Red Devils have won three games by six points or less with CBC’s top rusher in soph Jacob Hall.
4. Tecumseh (4-1): Arrows have won by 5, 1 and 3 points in past three weeks helping them overcome 37-22 loss to Butler.
5. Franklin (4-1): Wildcats offense went into hiding in 21-0 loss to Bellbrook last week, but the resume is still impressive.
Division III
1. Alter (5-0): Knights moved to No. 2 in the state poll with a defense that allows nine points per game, but final three games this season on the road.
2. Thurgood Marshall (4-1): Cougars won fourth straight last week after opening 35-21 loss to Trotwood-Madison; now it’s City League time.
3. Eaton (4-1): Eagles followed impressive win against Brookville with shutout of Oakwood; up next is 2-3 Monroe at home.
4. Kenton Ridge (5-0): Cougars have big-time matchup against undefeated Springfield Shawnee tonight; wins have come against 7-18 opponents.
5. Dunbar (3-2): Wolverines dropped 21-7 decision to Canfield, a D-II school with a two-point loss to an undefeated opponent.
Division IV
1. Waynesville (5-0): Still No. 1 in Region 16 computer rankings, Spartans stayed on a roll with 43-14 win against Preble Shawnee.
2. Fenwick (5-0): Falcons have outscored opponents 258-59, but schedule gets tougher starting with Roger Bacon tonight.
3. Milton-Union (4-1): Bulldogs have matched last season’s win total with only a one-point loss to undefeated Tippecanoe.
4. Brookville (4-1): Blue Devils rebounded from 41-35 loss to Eaton by topping Dixie; winless Oakwood is up next.
5. Chaminade Julienne (3-2): Eagles have won three straight after shutout losses in their first two to enter ratings.
Division V
1. Coldwater (4-1): Cavaliers take over top spot after beating previous No. 1 Versailles 36-19 last week; only loss came against 5-0 Kenton.
2. Versailles (4-1): Despite loss to Coldwater, Tigers dropped just three spots to No. 9 in the state poll; now they meet D-VI power Delphos St. John’s.
3. Covington (5-0): Buccs have racked up plenty of points (37.4 per game), but toughest test yet comes tonight against 4-1 Miami East.
4. Dayton Christian (5-0): The year’s best MBC showdown comes tonight when 4-1 Fort Loramie visits DC at West Carrollton Jr. High.
5. Miami East (4-1): Vikings dropped opener to 4-1 Milton-Union but beat next four (including 4-1 Ansonia) by combined score of 177-14.
Division VI
1. Marion Local (4-1): Flyers rose two spots to No. 3 in the state poll after a fourth straight win; lost only to D-III Lima Shawnee.
2. Fort Loramie (4-1): How about the stingy Redskins defense? Four straight shutouts while scoring 47.5 per game.
3. Spg. Catholic Central (3-2): Irish ended a three-game winning streak with a loss to undefeated and D-V West Liberty-Salem.
4. Tri-County North (3-2): A loss to undefeated and D-V Covington ended a three-game winning streak for Panthers.
5. Minster (3-2): Wildcats broke two-game losing streak by beating New Bremen 27-7; impressive win is Fort Loramie.
