Fairborn led 54-0 at halftime and cruised to a 54-14 high school football nonleague victory at Sidney on Friday night.
Skyhawks quarterback Kendrick Williams threw for 150 yards and three touchdowns. One of the scoring passes was a 40-yard strike to Noah Rehs, who also returned a punt 63 yards for a TD.
The Skyhawks (3-2) forced five Sidney (0-5) turnovers, including four interceptions. Torell Miller carried 11 times for 84 yards and a touchdown.
Piqua 56, Fairmont 27: Senior Jon Dembski rushed 23 times for 172 yards and four touchdowns as the Indians (3-2) topped Fairmont (2-3). Chris Rhoades scored two TDs for the Firebirds, rushing eight times for 127 yards and catching six passes for 70 yards.
Carroll 3, Roger Bacon 0: Cary Sullivan’s 28-yard field goal in the third quarter gave the Patriots (2-3) all the points they needed in this defensive struggle. Carroll’s Luke Pelfrey and Tom Hill each intercepted a pass.
Waynesville 43, Preble Shawnee 14: Luke Creditt rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown and threw for 155 yards and a score as the Spartans (5-0, 2-0 SWBL Buckeye) remained undefeated.
Eaton 26, Oakwood 0: Nathan Clark had a pair of touchdown runs to lead Eaton (4-1, 2-0 SWBL Southwestern) past Oakwood (0-5, 0-2). Cole French threw a TD pass and added a 10-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter.
Carlisle 53, Northridge 13: The Indians (2-3, 1-1 SWBL Buckeye) erupted for 34 points in the first quarter and cruised past Northridge (0-5, 0-2). Ryan McLaughlin and Jason Sandlin each had two TDs for Carlisle.
Monroe 18, Valley View 14: Chris Wilson carried 24 times for 182 yards and scored the winning touchdown on an 8-yard run in the fourth quarter. The Hornets (2-3, 1-1 SWBL Southwestern) rushed for 302 yards and held Valley View (2-3, 1-1) to 156 yards.
Dayton Christian 73, Jefferson 22: Heath Harding ran for 157 yards and three touchdowns on just five attempts. The junior also caught a 39-yard TD pass to help the Warriors improve to 5-0.
West Carrollton 30, Oxford Talawanda 19: The Pirates (2-3) had 477 total yards in their road victory. Chad Vannest carried 17 times for 190 yards and three touchdowns and Joss Woss added 102 yards on 23 attempts.
Meadowdale 22, Ponitz Tech 2: The Lions (3-2) scored 16 points in the first quarter and rolled to a City League win over Ponitz (2-3). Otis Shine had a 12-yard touchdown run and Allen Bumpus returned an interception 47 yards for a first-period score.
Coldwater 36, Versailles 19: The Cavaliers (4-1, 3-0 MAC) trailed 13-7 at halftime before scoring 22 points in the third quarter to hand Versailles (4-1, 2-1) its first loss. Caleb Siefring caught two touchdown passes in the third quarter and Austin Bruns had a pair of second-half TD runs to lead Coldwater.
