Fairborn High School’s boys basketball team needed to dress its whole freshman squad for its game with Troy after losing eight players to suspension in the wake of its brawl with Miamisburg last Friday.
Despite the difficult situation, the Skyhawks trounced the Trojans 81-58 thanks to stellar performances by senior Kendrick Williams and sophomore Jordan Michael.
Williams in particular played with a lot of emotion and harnessed it well, scoring 34 points. Michael added 28 in Fairborn’s fourth consecutive victory.
