Greenville’s Aubrey Dovoss would not be denied Tuesday against Trotwood-Madison. The Green Wave junior scored all five of her team’s goals in a 5-4 girls high school soccer victory, including the breakaway game-winner in the final minute and a half.
Greenville and Trotwood literally had gone goal-for-goal and Trotwood had tied it with three minutes to play before Dovoss’ winning score.
Greenville improved to 3-2; Trotwood fell to 0-5.
Miami Valley 4, Xenia Christian 2: Senior Lauren McKenzie scored twice to tie it and senior Kelsey Clark added a goal and an assist to help rally the Rams. Miami Valley improved to 2-4-1.
Bellbrook 3, Monroe 1: Senior Leisha Crawford scored the first two goals for the Golden Eagles and assisted on the third. Bellbrook improved to 5-1-1.
Xenia 2, Piqua 0: Senior Brandon Kinley assisted on the first goal and scored the second, and junior goalkeeper Austin Christopher recorded the shutout. Xenia improved to 4-2-1; Piqua fell to 2-5.
Springboro 2, Vandalia Butler 1: The Panthers rallied with a goal each from senior Josh Kellner and senior Chris Koczak. Springboro improved to 3-0-2.
Alter 3, Cincinnati Elder 1: Senior Conor Crippen scored all three goals for the Knights for his first career hat trick. Alter improved to 5-0-1.
Carroll 4, Cin. McNicholas 0: Junior Vonne Byrd scored twice, and freshman goalkeeper Noah Kummer had five saves . Carroll improved to 7-0.
Oakwood 9, Franklin 0: Senior Alex Gardner had two goals and an assist, junior Mark Kravitz scored twice and senior Ben Georgin had a goal and an assist in the rout. Oakwood improved to 6-1.
