The Greater Western Ohio Conference athletic directors and principals will vote on whether to expand their three-division, 16-team setup by two more schools on Wednesday.
Three area teams have reportedly inquired about joining the GWOC. West Carrollton and Greenville, both independents, are expected to be added.
GWOC commissioner Eric Spahr has indicated that the conference would realign its three divisions — North, Central and South — to six-team divisions. If approved, the new schools would join no later than the fall of 2012.
