Division I

1. Troy (6-1): The Trojans get the ultimate test at Trotwood-Madison in a spectacular DDN Game of the Week that will decide the GWOC North title.

2. Centerville (4-3): The playoffs might be a long shot, but there’s always a GWOC Central title at stake for the Elks, who are at Wayne.

3. Wayne (4-3): Junior quarterback Javon Harrison and a great crew of receivers had breakout efforts last week at Beavercreek.

4. Fairborn (5-2): The surging Skyhawks can secure their place atop the GWOC South standings with a victory at Xenia.

5. Beavercreek (4-3): The Beavers had six turnovers in a lopsided setback to Wayne; at Springfield with the loser out of GWOC Central contention.

Division II

1. Trotwood-Madison (7-0): The talented Rams have had their mettle tested the last two weeks against Piqua and in the first half at Xenia.

2. Vandalia Butler (6-1): The Aviators remain in GWOC North title contention if they can win their final three regular-season games.

3. Tippecanoe (7-0): The Red Devils will make or break their CBC title hopes at Tecumseh in a great showdown.

5. Franklin (6-1): The Wildcats will be tested to the max with a great SWBL matchup with visiting Eaton.

4. Tecumseh (5-2): The Arrows can get back into CBC contention should they beat Tipp after falling to Shawnee.

Division III

1. Alter (7-0): After blanking Carroll 20-0, the Knights face their second straight GCL North rival at once-beaten Fenwick.

2. Thurgood Marshall (6-1): The Cougars played Belmont on Thursday and are in good position to make the playoffs since their Colonel White days.

3. Eaton (6-1): The Eagles appear to have sufficiently recovered after suffering their only loss to unbeaten Waynesville.

4. Springfield Shawnee (7-0): The Braves made a huge CBC Kenton Trail statement by dropping Tecumseh from a logjam at the top.

5. Kenton Ridge (6-1): The Cougars have lost only to Shawnee, but wrap up the regular season with Tipp and Tecumseh in Weeks 9-10.

Division IV

1. Waynesville (7-0): The Spartans’ undefeated dream season picks up at Northridge, then it’s a SWBL showdown with Milton-Union in Week 9.

2. Chaminade Julienne (5-2): The Eagles vault upward several places after a convincing defeat of previously unbeaten Fenwick.

3. Milton-Union (6-1): The Bulldogs must dodge Dixie’s upset bid before focusing on Waynesville.

4. Brookville (6-1): The Blue Devils can solidify their SWBL contention against visiting Bellbrook.

5. Fenwick (6-1): The best way for the Falcons to recover following the CJ loss is to snap visiting Alter’s win streak.

Division V

1. Coldwater (6-1): The Cavaliers edged Delphos St. John’s last week and are at Marion Local in what may well decide the MAC championship.

2. Covington (7-0): The high-scoring Buccaneers, at National Trail, are in command of another CCC title and playoff season.

3. Versailles (5-2): The Tigers hope to finish strong after consecutive midseason MAC losses to Coldwater and Delphos SJ’s.

4. West Liberty-Salem (7-0): Another OHC championship appears within the Tigers’ grasp should they eliminate Mechanicsburg.

5. Dayton Christian (6-1): The high-scoring Warriors lit up Lehman Catholic to remain in MBC contention after falling to Fort Loramie.

Division VI

1. Marion Local (6-1): Once again the MAC title likely will be decided when the Flyers host Coldwater. Both are unbeaten in the conference.

2. Minster (5-2): The Wildcats have mounted a three-game win streak since falling to Delphos SJ’s and Marion Local in midseason.

3. Fort Loramie (6-1): The Redskins are atop the MBC standings are handing Dayton Christian its only loss.

4. Spg. Catholic Central (5-2): The Irish still have an outside shot at an OHC title should WL-Salem fall.

5. Tri-County North (5-2): The Panthers have lost only to Brookville (6-1) in the opener and unbeaten Covington.
