QB Luke Creditt, a passing and running threat, has led Waynesville to an undefeated regular season and a fifth straight postseason.

The Spartans, ranked third in the state, have scored at least 40 points in seven games this season, including in a 49-21 defeat of Milton-Union in Week 9. M-U senior RB Jacob Finfrock rushed for a school-record 1,524 yards and 20 touchdowns this season.
