A strong second-half surge gave Bellbrook a 59-42 victory over Franklin in Thursday’s girls high school basketball.
Leisha Crawford scored 11 points and Erin Dorn added 10 for the balanced Golden Eagles attack.
Brandi McDaniel scored 22 points and grabbed 10 boards for the Wildcats.
Bellbrook improved to 7-3 (6-0 SWBL Southwest); Franklin fell to 7-5 (3-3).
Waynesville 61, Preble Shawnee 37: Katelyn Danner connected on five 3-point baskets, good for 15 points, and Lauren Bunn added 13 points and eight steals for the Spartans.
Waynesville improved to 9-3 (6-1 SWBL Buckeye); Preble Shawnee fell to 1-9 (1-6).
Oakwood 53, Eaton 32: Brooke Trauthwine scored 16 points and Alex Miller added 13 for Oakwood. Emma Springmeier led the Eagles with nine points. Oakwood improved to 6-7; Eaton fell to 2-7.
Dunbar 60, Stivers 40: Keyonna Simmons scored 30 points in an outstanding effort for the Wolverines and Jamilia Williams added 15.
Sharonda Martin paced the Tigers with 18 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Dunbar improved to 3-7; Stivers fell to 4-5.
Marshall 82, Belmont 25: Sakia Prude scored 15 points to pace a high-powered Marshall offense that saw 13 players score.
Nia Blanchard added 13 points for the Cougars. Marshall improved to 7-6 (4-0 City League); Belmont fell to 1-11 (0-4).
