Xenia: 5-9, sr., G
Scouting report: Was second in the GWOC last season with a 16.5-point scoring average. Also pulled down 5.6 rebounds and dished out 4.4 assists per game. The Wright State signee helped Xenia to a 20-2 finish and a nearly season-long stay in the AP state top 10 poll.
Vandalia Butler: 5-5, sr., G
Scouting report: Mixed 13 points per game with a 4.4-assist average to lead a team with three players who will head to Division I colleges next season. Cassell will play at Akron, which will gain a player considered a prototypical point guard who has taken on an added scoring role.
Stebbins: 6-1, sr., G/F/C
Scouting report: The University of Mississippi-bound senior can play any position on the floor, mixing strong moves around the basket with skilled ball-handling up and down the floor. “She can make passes you don’t think are possible,” said first-year coach Suzanne Loudner.
Fairmont: 6-2, sr., F
Scouting report: Already signed with the University of Dayton, Sant averaged 13.1 points and 7.7 rebounds last season, including 47 points in three games against eventual state champion Mount Notre Dame. As a junior, Sant averaged 13.5 points and 8.7 rebounds.
Greenon: 5-6, sr., G
Scouting report: Turner’s stats speak for themselves: 29.4 points per game, 44.2 percent shooting, 38.1 percent from 3-point range. The Morehead State-bound Turner has been a top Miami Valley player for several seasons, most notably because of her well-practiced jump shot.
