The votes are in and the DaytonDailyNews.com high school basketball Player of the Year is Fairborn's Alexis Gassion! She racked up more than 36,000 votes to beat out Kori Faul of the Miami Valley School, who had close to 26,000.

Congratulations to Alexis and thanks to everyone for voting throughout the season.
