Gems stunned in overtime by Evansville

The Dayton Gems battled back to tie Evansville on the road in the final minutes of regulation before being stunned with seconds left in sudden death overtime to fall 3-2 to the IceMen at the Ford Center. Scoring for the Gems were Andy Zulyniak and Brett Lutes. Todd Robinson got the game-winner with 34.3 seconds left on the clock.

Soccer: The Columbus Crew named Vojislav “Scoop” Stanisic goalkeepers coach. Stanisic, 48, once played for the New York Cosmos’ indoor team.
