Miami U. senior miler wins MAC honor

CLEVELAND — Miami University senior Amanda Mirochna has been named Mid-American Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Mirochna won the mile at the BGSU Challenge on Saturday, despite running the event for the first time this season. Her winning time was 4 minutes, 57.01, the top time in the conference this season.
