Miami icers blank Notre Dame 4-0
OXFORD — Connor Knapp made 18 saves Saturday night, Dec. 5, as the top-ranked Miami University hockey team blanked No. 14/15 Notre Dame 4-0 to sweep a two-game weekend series at Steve Cady Arena.
It was the second shutout in as many nights for MU, which improved to 11-2-4 overall and 8-1-3 in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. The Irish fell to 7-7-4, 4-4-4.
Carter Camper had a goal and an assist and Tommy Wingels, Justin Vaive and Pat Cannone also scored for Miami, which travels to Ohio State on Friday.
