MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The Miami University women’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to top-seeded and host Central Michigan on Sunday, Nov. 8, in the Mid-American Conference championship game.

The Chippewas scored in the 14th minute and made the goal stand up in improving to 16-3-3. Miami, which failed to convert penalty kick in the 88th minute that would have tied the game, finishes 12-8-1.

Miami’s Jodi Zwingelberg, Alexandra Karlsson and Sara Lund were named to the All-MAC Tournament team.
