ATLANTA — Elena Delle Donne, the leading scorer in NCAA Division I, had 31 points in 25 minutes and No. 12 Delaware beat Georgia State 94-56 on Sunday for its 12th consecutive victory.

Lauren Carra added 19 points for Delaware (21-1, 12-0 Colonial Athletic Conference), going 3 of 6 from behind the 3-point arc. Danielle Parker had 11 points, eight rebounds, six assists and six steals for the Hens, while Trumae Lucas had nine assists.

Delle Donne, averaging 28 points, was 10 of 16 from the floor, hitting both of her 3-point attempts, and 9 of 10 from the foul line. She also had eight rebounds.

"I don't even think about the scoring," she said. "I just go play to play."

The 6-foot-5 junior missed the game against Georgia State last season, but the Panthers (7-17, 1-12) weren't so fortunate this time around.

"She's a great scorer, but she's more than that," Georgia State coach Sharon Baldwin-Tener said. "She makes everyone around her better with what she can do."

Delaware coach Tina Martin agrees that Delle Donne isn't fully appreciated just by looking at the numbers she puts up.

"She radiates confidence to everyone around her," Martin said.

Delaware shot 55 percent overall.

Georgia State committed 24 turnovers and didn't have a player reach double figures. Kayla Nolan led the Panthers with nine points.

Martin, who is in her 16th season at Delaware, earned her 300th career win.

"It's good to get the number, but I've already moved on," Martin said.
